Abby Ropes

Abby is the Director of Policy Administration at University of Kansas. In this capacity, she manages the University Policy Program and Policy Library. Abby has earned her master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Indianapolis. Prior to joining the Office of Policy Administration, she worked in the Office of Undergraduate Studies at KU and in Washburn University’s Registrar Office.

Previously, in her role as Policy Program Coordinator, she partners with policy making units and individuals across the University to facilitate policy development, revision, and approval, as well as publication in the Policy Library. Prior to working higher education, she worked in Human Resource Management in Employee Relations.
